Touchstone Properties hosted its annual charity golf tournament on July 25, 2016, at the Mid Pacific Country Club, raising thousands of dollars for the Joshua Neves Children’s Foundation and the Hawaii Foodbank.
Thanks to the generous support of supporters and sponsors, Touchstone has raised tens of thousands of dollars for Hawaii charities since launching the tournament in 2004.
The Joshua Neves Children’s Foundation supports Hawaii families who have lost a child, providing them with the assistance they need to navigate through their grief with bereavement support, spiritual guidance, financial assistance and fellowship. The organization is also committed to assisting families who have children battling with life-threatening injury or illness.
The Hawaii Foodbank is the only nonprofit 501(c)(3) agency in Hawaii that collects, warehouses and distributes mass quantities of both perishable and nonperishable food through nearly 200 charitable agencies on Oahu. In 2015, the Hawaii Foodbank distributed more than 13.7 million pounds of food to help feed 287,000 people in need statewide.
